iCab Mobile (Web Browser) App Reviews

I use this app all the time for browsing and like to keep multiple pages open for reference or searching. It has a lot of extensions to expand its use and link it with other programs.

I love iCab as it gives all the features and flexibility one could ever want in a browser. Consider me a supporter--I plan to leave my in-app contribution because Ive gotten much more out of iCab that Ill ever return. There are a large exponential number of customizations one can make to truly personalize it for their needs. The developer is awesome and responsive. Its indeed the browser for nerds. That said, I struggle at times to find whatever option Im seeking because the menu has grown so extensive. Now that theres an ability to search that may help.

I wish this could bey default browser action on iPhone so bad! The profiles and plugins are amazing and the updates just keep pouring in. Thank you so much!

Have used this browser for years. Just purchased the $2.99 IAP cuz you deserve it!

For everyday stuff, I tend to use Safari, but when I want fullscreen browsing or the ability to download and manage those downloads, this is my go-to browser. There are rather a lot of preferences, which you can use or not. Since I do, Im glad I can sync or back these up. Makes moving between devices easy.

I often find things useful in ways that might not be immediately obvious. The web server in Tools/Export is easily one of the most valuable features. Most file formats can be exported or (Open in App) into ICab that along with uploading and downloading with the web server makes this a go to program for file sharing when there isnt easy access to web sharing services and Im on the same network. And thats like two things out of fifty. I tried the other browsers and ICab has the advanced features that I come back to again and again. Its my grown up browser in a little handheld.

I bought this app about three years ago money well spent

Indeed, iCab has gotten better with every update and remains the best featured browser to date. The amount of customization is wonderful and the app development has remained progressive for all these years despite the one time fee. I will gladly "donate" for the new features as I have more than received my monies worth. iCab is an essential app to my iOS experience.

I really enjoy this app. Using Icab I can browse whatever I want whenever I want. Also its very fast and the developer is letting us know he is present. We appreciate this app. Puffin and file browser pro cannot compare to this fantastic browsing app.

Add Dropbox automatic syncing folder or as link to Dropbox.

iCab is a nice alternative browser.

Hands down, best web browser for the iPad

I love iCab, but updating to iOS 10 broke the ability to increase or change the font size. This is an iPad only issue. I hope Apple will fix this bug. If you have an iPad and its important to you, I would wait for a fix before updating to iOS 10.

Finally. I have bought soo many other browsers and none of them were better than chrome or safari. This one beats them by a landslide.

...and on iPhone 6s, iPod Touch. Private mode! Lots of configurable options. Fast.

I spent all morning trying multiple browsers to replace Mercury browser, which no longer appears to be supported. I got used to a lot of bells and whistles, and this browser has even more. Its wonderfully customizable, plus it seems to be blocking ads and loading pages quickly. So glad I found you!

This is like the biggest hidden gem of the app store. I call it the FireFox of iOS. As customizable as it can get. Closest experience to desktop browsing. I paid for this once like back in 2010, I still get free upgrades! I paid again for un-necessary in app purchases to show support

Overall, the best web browser for the iPad. Wish it could be the default. Continues to get better.
