iCab Mobile (Web Browser) App Reviews

The best about it is that it can work around one of the greatest weaknesses of iPad - no possibility to upload files. I needed it to administrate a Joomla! website. Plus the developer is willing to help and support the app.

Updated after freeze and reset is too often, so now ive forced to use safari browser. Please, back my money or improve your app. Sergey

After entering login/password for firefox sync nothing happens. "Check" button does not reacting on taps either.

Bug in the new version. There is an empty grey area on the right. It takes up one third ogf the page and cant be removed. Please, fix. Ошибка в новой версии. Справа пустая серая область. Она занимает треть страницы и её не убрать. Пожалуйста поправьте.

Subj doesnt work any more. Especially if I sync a folder with bookmarks. Also cannot edit bookmarks on iOS.

Something wrong. App shows that there is no internet connection while Safari works well. Rebooting helps for a while but than same bug appears again.

Excellent browser with a lot more capabilities than Safari. Filter for ads. Protection of privacy. Connects to online services with modules. Download of YouTube movies...

Does not work on iphone4, at all

It is not possible to upload file( other than photo) on most of websites!

Been using iCab on the Mac occasionally since the Mac OS 8 days, bought the iOS version as soon as it came out, back in the iPhoneOS 2 days. Today iCab is extremely flexible and a real improvement over Safari, also better than other browsers Ive tried. Things Id like to see: "low data mode" (maybe using Google mobilizer?), pages being saved in local cache when theyre purged from memory (so that you dont need to reload them when you go back to a long forgotten tab). And of course a way to make it the default browser, but thats an apple thing, sadly.

I was looking for a browser with fullscreen and kiosk mode to use with krpano based works. Does this perfectly, and much much more. Might well become my main ios browser in a short time.

Excellent browser, timely updates, and new features are added on a regular basis. Support is excellent. My go to browser on a daily basis.

I love this browser. Tons of configurability and it’s really fast too. Love the classic theme. Thank you for fixing the HTTP redirection bug. It was causing me problems logging into certain websites. Thank again for your hard work!

I bought this app mainly because it blocked the annoying pop up ads on my iPad. It worked wonderfully until a few weeks ago. Suddenly I am seeing ads for T-Mobile DirecTV etc. Really icab? Et tu?!

This isnt for just surfing. Thats a waste. Its for doing - working with files and content online that other browsers can. Its all built-in. This is a reliable, hard working, powerful, stable, iOS browser. It has a huge amount of integrated features with apps and services. Ive used it for years. When I need to get things done, save and organize from online content, I go to this browser. Like when I need to preview docs online, format content to print or save, download anything - including zip files that you can then unzip and view. I can export them to a host of clouds, apps and social media accounts. Most critical is that I can easily locate anything Ive downloaded at any time. Months later.
