iCab Mobile (Web Browser) App Reviews

Updated app on 23 Sep 13 and as a result of opening it first time, it printed out some unacceptable protest statement in German, deleting app.

Ive been using icab for years with a 4th gen ipod touch. With the last year the app started crashing. I figured with a 5th gen ipod touch that icab wouldnt be crashing because of the increased memory of the new device. Sadly I was wrong. Time to find another browser

Latest version is a piece of crap if you dont want to use DuckDuck. I used to love it. Now I dont!!!!

Do not download.. Lot of options . Not working like file uploader

UPDATE - July 14, 2014 Ive been using iCab Mobile for years. I completely forgot about my previous review, posted years ago. But it still holds. iCab Mobile is still the Mercedes of iOS web browsers. Best implementation of full screen on the App Store. The gestures are fantastic. Fast, feature-rich, and have I mentioned just how great the full screen implementation is? ;) This is one well-supported browser that just keeps getting better with age. UPDATE - Feb 1, 2011 The new UI is gorgeous. I have never seen tabs implemented so seamlessly. The iCab crew really outdid themselves this time. Functional and elegant, and FAST (Im using it on an iPhone 4.) Nice work, iCab team! Keep it up!

This web browser have the most features and customization options of any browser on iOS.

Feature packed browser alternative.

I loved this browser until the ios8 update. Now it crashes regularly and always when I try to make a new folder. Please fix this! Till it is fixed, it is almost unusable.

Best browser in the market, period.

This has been a great browser with an unmatched feature set. Unfortunately for the past several versions, there has been some form of memory leak. The browser crashes often and complains about low memory after light surfing.

App is suddenly crashing and freezing. It happens on every device and only in this app, so its not my resources. Hope its fixed soon. Very frustrating to lose info on the pages after the crash!

Amazing app for my work related duties. Im a realtor in Montreal, Canada and this app solves all our problems related to broker loading a new listing on Centris. On top of that, i had a question related to the app and the developer answered my phone call and took the time to help me out! Thank you and good job

Hands down the best browser I’ve used on iOS. Frequent updates and full features make this a fantastic Safari killer! I’m stoked about the recent swipe navigation, this is now my default browser. Five stars

Ive been using iCab as the go-to browser on my iPads for years now. Its powerful and flexible. It brings a lot more of the features of a real computer app to the iOS version than is the case for the overwhelming majority of such ports. Vielen Dank! I wrote the above a while back. I have to echo what I wrote then. This is a superb iPad app. It has many features lacking in its competition and, in my opinion, is the best iOS browser I have used. I use it almost to the exclusion of any other browser on my iPad. Nochmals vielen Dank!

Ive tried a ton of iOS browsers and had settled on a combination of Safari (of course) and Mercury (for features) but after trying iCab, I think this may replace both of those. It has the speed of Safari and as far as features...well, it has em all. I dont this theres a feature it doesnt have; you could spend a day alone in the settings menu. Love software that doesnt treat the user like a child and allows for customization. Despite all these features, the developer must be a magician to fit it all in a tiny app size of 14MB; my other favorite browser is 6 times that. Really nice to see efficient coding.

Excellent support from the developer. This app is worth paying twice its price.

Hey, I bought this browser over five years ago and have seen improvements, especially in downloading videos. I have since bought other download browser, but this gem will download videos presented in flowplayer--which doesnt seem to work with the apps I have. Do yourself a favour: buy at least one browser that seems to do it all!

Full implementation of Adblock and LastPass. Excellent UI. A steal for the price.

Awesome features and customizations but at times can be quite slow compared to safari and chrome...
